# Writing your story

Once you have selected the first asset you will be taken back to the storymaker template.  You will see the asset is displayed on the left-hand side of the screen.  On the right hand side you will see there is a text box in which you can write the introduction to your story.

Once you have entered your introductory text the **Save** button will appear. 

Save your story.  The next step is to add more slides.
