# Creating a story

From the home page click on **Create a story**.  This will take you to the start page where you can choose between three templates for your story:

* **Object + hotspots** - You will choose a hero object and add hotspots to tell your story using text and images or other digital media from Europeana.
* **Slideshow** - You will choose a series of digital assets from Europeana and/or Sketchfab and add text to tell your story in the form of a slideshow.
* **Timeline** - Choose a series of digital assets from Europeana and Sketchfab and add text and dates to tell your story in the form of a timeline.
