# Updating your profile

When you are logged in to the Share3D dashboard you will see an icon displayed on the top right-hand side of your screen, click on this to see the options.

You can update your profile, change your password and logout from the system using the pull-down list.

We ask you to provide the following information for your **user profile:** 

* Your **email address** - so we can contact you and inform you about progress with your Europeana publications
* Your **organisation** - so we can include information about the organisation providing metadata records and 3D models to Europeana.
* The **language** that you use to write your metadata records - so we can include this information in the records that we send to Europeana.
