# Adding metadata

When you click on a model displayed on your models homepage, you will go to the Share3D metadata editing tool.

Any metadata that you added to your model in Sketchfab is transferred across to Share3D when you import your model.  You can use the Share3D dashboard to add the metadata needed for Europeana, and also to edit any metadata imported from Sketchfab if needed.
