# Previewing your EDM record

The metadata that you enter into the form is used to create an EDM record, which you can preview in the Share3D dashboard by clicking on Preview EDM.

This EDM record is sent to Europeana for ingestion.  Once it has been published in Europeana Collections, you will see that your model is embedded in the record display.  [See this example from the Discovery Programme](https://www.europeana.eu/portal/en/record/2048705/object_HA_1713.html?q=3d).
