# Publishing a story

You can publish a story by clicking on the "Publish" button on your "[My Stories](/share-3d-guidelines/user-guide-to-the-share-3d-storymaker/managing-your-stories.md)" homepage.  A window will pop-up asking you to confirm that you want to publish.

When the story has been published its status will change from Private to Published, and it will be visible on the [Storymaker home page](/share-3d-guidelines/user-guide-to-the-share-3d-storymaker/creating-a-story.md).&#x20;

When you **View** the story, you will see that you now have the option to share your story on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and by email.
