# Publishing

Once you have completed the process of adding metadata for your model its time to submit your record for publication.   &#x20;

Starting on the Models homepage, select the model that is ready for publication.  This will take you to the metadata editor.  At the top of the screen, on the right hand side you will see a "**submit**" button.  Click on this.

The button text will change from "submit" to "withdraw".

On the top left hand side of the screen you will see a link to "My models", click on this to return to the Models homepage.  Once there you will see that the model has moved to the "**Awaiting**" publication tab.

"Awaiting" means that your metadata record has been sent to the aggregator and is awaiting ingestion.  There could be a slight delay while your record is checked for completeness.  We will notify you about progress using the email address you registered in your profile.

If you need to edit your metadata record, simply click on the "withdraw" button. Then make your edits and, once finished, submit again.
