# Importing models from Sketchfab

Once your Sketchfab account has been linked, you will see a list of your published Sketchfab models will be displayed. Any models that you are still working on in Sketchfab (and which you haven't yet published) will not appear. Don't worry, you can return later to add more models when these are ready.

You can import all or some of the models that you have published on Sketchfab. To choose the ones that you would like to import to Share3D simply click on them.

A pop-up window will appear asking you to click to confirm that you would like to import the model information from Sketchfab to the Share3D dashboard.

{% hint style="info" %}
The import process copies the metadata that you provided for your models in Sketchfab across to the Share3D dashboard with a preview image. The model itself stays in Sketchfab.
{% endhint %}

Once you have imported all of the models that you want to work on in Share3D, click on the link back to the models homepage displayed on the top left-hand side of your screen.
